Aghdere: An investigation is underway regarding the discovery of bone fragments resembling a human skeleton, the Press Service of the Prosecutor General’s Office told APA. On April 2, the District Prosecutor’s Office received a report about the discovery of suspected human bone fragments in the territory of Bash Guneypaya village, Aghdere district.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, prosecutors immediately conducted an on-site examination with the participation of forensic experts. The recovered bone fragments were properly collected for laboratory analysis and expert examination, and other necessary procedural actions were taken. Currently, investigative measures are being carried out to determine the identity of the remains.
The Aghdam District Prosecutor’s Office is handling the investigation into this case. Local residents have discovered skeletal fragments believed to belong to a human, APA reports. The remains are believed to belong to Asaddin Juru Novruzov and Gurban Ramazan Goyushov. The remains belonging to Gurban Goyushov have already been removed from the site and sent for expertise to determine their identity. The skeletal remains that are believed to belong to Asaddin Novruzov have not yet been retrieved from under the collapsed house.
The remains of Asaddin Novruzov will be collected. It is noted that the individuals mentioned were martyred on March 12, 1992. The skeletal fragments believed to belong to them were found in the place where they were buried after their martyrdom.
