Bodies of Brothers Killed in Yekaterinburg to Undergo Examination in Azerbaijan Before Burial in Aghjabadi


Baku: Bodies of siblings, Ziyaddin and Huseyn Safarov, who were killed during an operation by the Federal Security Service in Yekaterinburg, Russia, are set to undergo a second medical examination in Azerbaijan. The examination is expected to occur either today or tomorrow, though the exact timing remains uncertain, as stated by Seyfaddin Huseynli, deputy editor-in-chief of ‘525-ci q?zet’ and brother of the deceased, to APA.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the bodies are scheduled to arrive at Heydar Aliyev International Airport at approximately 20:00 today. The State Committee on Work with Diaspora will accompany the reception. Following their arrival, the bodies will be transported to Aghjabadi in the early hours of the next day.



Seyfaddin Huseynli further shared that his brothers will be laid to rest in the ‘Dord yol’ cemetery in Aghjabadi, alongside their parents. A farewell ceremony will also be conducted in Aghjabadi, allowing family and friends to pay their last respects.
