Baku: The external liabilities of the banking sector in Azerbaijan have decreased by 467 million manats compared to the beginning of the year, falling to 2 billion 794.8 million manats.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) has reported this significant reduction in external liabilities. It was noted that the change is primarily attributed to a decrease in the volume of current accounts of non-resident legal entities and the short-term deposits attracted from non-resident banks.
