Baku:The international Argentine tango festival, ‘Baku Tango Marathon 2026,’ is set to take place in Baku from October 8 to 12. This five-day event will feature a gathering of tango enthusiasts, including dancers, instructors, and DJs from various countries such as Italy, the UK, Trkiye, Russia, Israel, Georgia, Germany, and France, among others.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the festival will be held at the Landmark Hotel Baku and will offer a variety of activities. Attendees can look forward to social tango nights as well as a city tour that will highlight Baku’s rich history, architecture, and cultural heritage.
The event is organized by Ilham Osmanov, a professional Argentine tango instructor and the head of In Tango School. He is also an international tango DJ. The festival is supported by sponsors including G-STONE GALLERY, NESSCO, Mercy Baku, and the Embassy of Argentina in Azerbaijan.
