Baku: The 3rd Industrial Safety Summit is set to take place in Baku on December 10, organized collaboratively by the Ministry of Emergency Situations, SOCAR, and the Azerbaijan Industrial Safety Association (AISA), as reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations’ press service to APA.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the summit will revolve around the concept message “Turning Point” and will gather key representatives from both the state and private sectors. This event aims to serve as a strategic platform for discussions on new approaches, innovations, and global practices in the context of industrial safety, technological advancements, climate change, and social transformations.
A significant aspect of the summit will be the signing of a trilateral memorandum of cooperation among the Ministry of Emergency Situations, SOCAR, and AISA. This memorandum will focus on industrial safety, labor protection, and environmental protection. The collaboration is expected to enhance safety standards, ISO management systems, and ESG principles.
The summit’s program will feature a ‘Red Line’ panel, a ‘Safe Talks’ discussion, and an ‘HSE Awards’ ceremony. Participants will engage in three main sessions, featuring 10 speakers and 2 moderators. The ‘Red Line’ panel will address high-risk areas associated with technology and artificial intelligence in industrial safety. Discussions will explore scenarios where technology cannot replace human intervention and the opportunities presented by artificial intelligence.
The ‘Safe Talks’ session will be a live presentation, extending AISA’s educational podcast series on industrial safety, occupational health, and environmental protection. Interactive discussions with a special guest will aim to foster a safety culture.
The ‘HSE Awards’ ceremony will recognize organizations and individuals for their contributions to health, safety, and environmental practices in various industry sectors. These awards are intended to encourage excellence in HSE practices and highlight safer, sustainable business solutions.
