Baku: Baku Metro CJSC has announced plans to construct a new metro station near the existing ‘Sahil’ station, which will offer direct access to the Red Line from ‘Avtovagzal’. This development aims to enhance connectivity for passengers traveling within the city.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Bakhtiyar Mammadov, the press secretary of Baku Metro CJSC, shared the details with journalists. The new station will be strategically located following the ‘Nizami’ station, facilitating a seamless transfer to the Red Line. Mammadov emphasized that this new addition will allow passengers starting their journey from ‘Avtovagzal’ to transfer at the new station near ‘Sahil’ and continue their trip directly to Hazi Aslanov station without the need for additional transportation modes.
The new station is expected to improve the efficiency of the metro network and provide commuters with a more convenient travel experience.
