Baku Hosts Conference on Digitalization, AI, and Media Literacy


Baku: A conference on ‘Digitalization, Artificial Intelligence and Media Literacy’ was held in Baku as part of Media Literacy Week, organized by Azerbaijan’s Media Development Agency. The conference aimed to enhance media literacy, assess information within the context of digital transformation, and discuss the impact of AI technologies on the media environment.



According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the event also featured the screening of a video on media literacy. Ahmad Ismayilov, Executive Director of Azerbaijan’s Media Development Agency, addressed the opening ceremony, emphasizing the importance of enhancing media literacy against the backdrop of the acceleration of digitalization and the widespread use of AI technologies.



He highlighted that the priority areas in the modern information environment include forming the ability to correctly analyze information among citizens, especially young people, and promoting the use of reliable sources. The conference continued with discussions.
