Baku:In the first nine months of 2026, the Space Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, known as Azercosmos, achieved telecommunications service revenues totaling $19.6 million. These services were provided to nearly 95 companies across 36 countries worldwide.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, this figure represents a 1.5 times increase in service value compared to the same period last year, despite a reduction of five countries in their client base. Export operations made up 61% of the total revenues generated during this period.
The leading destinations for Azercosmos’s satellite telecommunications services included the United Kingdom, which accounted for $3.1 million, followed by Luxembourg at $2.4 million. Other significant markets were Türkiye with $989.7 thousand, Pakistan with $884.4 thousand, and Egypt with $484.9 thousand in revenues.
