Istanbul: Farid Gayibov, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Youth and Sports and President of European Gymnastics, attended the Coordination Commission meeting of the Association of European Olympic Committees (EOC) to discuss the upcoming European Games set to be held in Istanbul in 2027.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the meeting focused on the preparations for the European Games, bringing together national Olympic committee heads from various countries and other stakeholders. The event was chaired by Turkish Minister of Youth and Sports, Osman Askin Bak. Notable attendees included Spyros Capralos, EOC President, and Ahmet Glm, President of the Turkish Olympic Committee (TOC), along with officials from the Committee and representatives of national and European sports federations.
