Baku: Azerbaijan’s trade turnover with China saw a significant increase of 27% in the first seven months of this year, reaching a total of 2 billion 502.654 million US dollars.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, this marks a 26.8% increase compared to the same period last year, highlighting the strengthening economic ties between the two nations.
China accounted for 18.34% of Azerbaijan’s total trade turnover during this period. Exports from Azerbaijan to China totaled 53.294 million US dollars, which is 4.5 times more than the same period in 2024. This export figure represented 0.35% of Azerbaijan’s total exports.
On the other hand, imports from China to Azerbaijan increased by 24.8%, amounting to 2 billion 449.36 million US dollars. These imports made up 17.99% of Azerbaijan’s total imports, underscoring China’s significant role as a trade partner for Azerbaijan.
