Baku:Azerbaijan is actively creating new political dynamics in the South Caucasus region, according to Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration. This initiative is spearheaded by President Ilham Aliyev, as discussed at the CAMCA Regional Forum.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Hajiyev noted that Azerbaijan is playing a significant role in shaping the region’s new geopolitical realities through strategic foresight. The country’s focus is on enhancing economic and diplomatic connections, particularly in renewable energy and transport, while ensuring the consolidation and protection of peace.
Hajiyev also pointed out the high level of unpredictability not only in the South Caucasus but globally, stressing the importance of maintaining stability in Azerbaijan’s immediate neighborhood.
