Azerbaijan’s Role in Promoting Interpolar Dialogue Highlighted at Budapest Conference

Budapest: An international conference entitled “Map of Power” was held in the Hungarian capital, Budapest. The event, hosted at the Ludovika University of Public Service, brought together politicians and analysts from various countries.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, during the panel session titled “Strategic Powers in a Multipolar World,” MP Fariz Ismailzade, Vice-Rector of ADA University, shared insights on development diplomacy, regional cooperation, and the growing role of middle powers. He highlighted that flexible diplomacy and cooperation mechanisms in the new global order enhance the influence of states.

Ismailzade described Azerbaijan’s stance as a reliable partner in global politics, noting the strategic importance of the country’s contributions to Europe’s energy security and its transformation into a regional logistics hub. He further emphasized that Azerbaijan actively participates in promoting interpolar dialogue, mediation efforts between countries, and initiatives contributing to international peace.

The panel participants also focused on the formation of a new balance of power against the backdrop of the challenges and opportunities of a multipolar world.
