Baku: President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan has stated that the first successful reconciliation between Trkiye and Israel was facilitated by his nation to a certain degree. During an international forum titled ‘Facing the New World Order’ held at ADA University, President Aliyev explained Azerbaijan’s active role during the initial crisis between Trkiye and Israel, as reported by APA.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Azerbaijani President elaborated on the close relationships his country holds with both nations. He highlighted the formal alliance with Trkiye, marked by the signing of the Shusha Declaration in 2021. President Aliyev also described Israel as a friendly nation, noting the mutual friendship demonstrated during challenging times. He expressed concern over the tensions between Trkiye and Israel, emphasizing their significance to Azerbaijan.
