Baku: In January-February of this year, products worth AZN 671.6 million were produced and services were provided in Azerbaijan in the electricity, gas, and steam production, distribution, and supply sector, marking a 5.4% decrease in an annual comparison.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, during the same reporting period, the volume of products produced in the water supply, waste treatment, and processing sector amounted to AZN 93.4 million. This represents a 6.6% decrease compared to the figure from 2024.
Last year, Azerbaijan saw products worth AZN 3,484.8 million produced and services rendered in the electricity, gas, and steam sector, which was a 0.3% increase from the previous year. In contrast, the water supply, waste treatment, and processing sector recorded a production volume of AZN 654.8 million, a 2.5% increase compared to 2024.
