Baku: Azerbaijan’s national beach volleyball teams are preparing to showcase their talents at the European Championships across various age categories this September. According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the U20 teams will first compete in Battipaglia, Italy, from September 3-6. The men’s team features Ibrahim Mammadov and Muhammad Aslanli, while Sabina Alizada and Leyla Aliyeva will represent Azerbaijan in the women’s competition.
The excitement continues as Azerbaijan’s U22 teams set their sights on the European Championship in Madrid, Spain, slated for September 10-13. Once again, Ibrahim Mammadov and Muhammad Aslanli will take part in the men’s event, with Sabina Alizada and Leyla Aliyeva competing in the women’s category.
The U18 teams are also in the running for medals, as they head to Izmir, Trkiye, for their European Championship from September 17-20. The men’s team will comprise Emil Safronov and Tamerlan Taghiyev, while Dilara Aghayeva and Leyla Aliyeva will compete in the women’s events.
