Baku: Azerbaijan’s monetary base saw a decrease of 4% as of May 1, 2025, with the total monetary base dropping by 778.8 million manat compared to the previous month. This brought the monetary base to a level of 20.719 billion manat.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) reported that the country’s monetary base has decreased by 1% since the beginning of the year. However, it has shown a 3.6% increase over the past year.
