An informative event focusing on Azerbaijan’s investment potential was recently held in Izmir, Turkey. The event was co-organized by the Trade Representative Office of Azerbaijan in Turkey and the Izmir Azerbaijan Association (IZAZDER).
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the gathering was attended by IZAZDER members and local businesspeople from Izmir. Keynote speakers included Tamerlan Taghiyev, Azerbaijan’s Trade Representative in Turkey; Parviz Altay, Chairman of the Board of Directors at IZAZDER; and Tamer ‚¬€œzt¼rk, Chairman of the IZAZDER Turkey-Azerbaijan Development Committee. The discussions centered on investment opportunities in Azerbaijan and ways to strengthen business relations between the two countries. The event featured presentations on Azerbaijan’s business climate, a question and answer session, and an exchange of views.
During their visit to Izmir, the Azerbaijani delegation toured the production facility of “Heber Eng
ineering”. The meeting with the company’s management provided an opportunity to share insights into Azerbaijan’s business environment and discuss the investment incentives available, as well as cooperation prospects.
Additionally, the Azerbaijani delegation offered detailed information about the nation’s investment climate at a meeting of the Association of Consular Corps Members. Ahmet Fahri Yigitbasi, Deputy Chairman of the Association, and Levent Kandiller, Rector of Yasar University, highlighted the importance of collaborative efforts to enhance economic and trade cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey.
