Madrid: In the first quarter of 2025, the amount of direct investments from Azerbaijan into the Spanish economy totaled 20 million 896 thousand US dollars.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, this represented an increase of 2.6 times, or 12.9 million US dollars, compared to the same period in the previous year.
During the reporting period, direct investments from Spain into the Azerbaijani economy amounted to 1 million 80 thousand US dollars. The overall volume of direct investments from Azerbaijan into foreign economies during the first quarter was 315 million 116 thousand US dollars, whereas the direct foreign investments directed to Azerbaijan stood at 1 billion 519 million US dollars.
