Azerbaijan’s Diverse Landscapes to Feature in Japan’s Hit Series VIVANT

Accra:The Azerbaijan Tourism Board has played a significant role in supporting the filming of the second season of Japan’s popular television series, VIVANT, which was recently completed across the country. This collaboration aims to showcase Azerbaijan’s landscapes, heritage, and unique regional character to a broad audience.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the Azerbaijan Tourism Board also supported the post-production process in collaboration with Tokyo Broadcasting System Television, Inc. (TBS). This initiative is expected to introduce Azerbaijan to Japanese and international viewers, leveraging one of Japan’s most widely followed series.

The collaboration will extend to a promotional campaign designed to engage VIVANT’s audience with the Azerbaijani experience. Activities will include social media content, media and newspaper coverage, a dedicated Azerbaijan section on the VIVANT website, a special guidebook, television programs with the cast, and behind-the-scenes videos. The new season will be broadcast on TBS and available on U-NEXT and TVer in Japan, with an international release on Netflix.
