Baku: Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) has reported significant findings in the demining operations conducted in the liberated territories from April 28, 2025, to May 4, 2025.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, ANAMA discovered 32 anti-personnel mines, 19 anti-tank mines, and 504 unexploded ordnances (UXOs) across multiple regions including Tartar, Aghdam, Aghdara, Lachin, Fuzuli, Shusha, Khojaly, Khankendi, Kalbajar, Khojavend, Jabrayil, Gubadli, and Zangilan.
The report highlighted that a total area of 1,416.9 hectares has been cleared of mines and UXOs, marking a substantial progress in the ongoing demining efforts in these regions.
