Baku: Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) has announced monthly information for March regarding operations conducted in the liberated territories, ANAMA told APA.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, ANAMA discovered 331 anti-personnel mines, 105 anti-tank mines, and 9,755 unexploded ordnance (UXOs) across several regions, including Tartar, Aghdam, Aghdara, Lachin, Fuzuli, Shusha, Khojaly, Khankandi, Kalbajar, Khojavand, Jabrayil, Gubadli, and Zangilan.
It was also reported that 4,556 hectares of land were cleared of mines and unexploded ordnance, marking a significant step in ensuring the safety and security of these areas.
