Islamabad: Azerbaijani servicemen took part in a military parade held for the first time in Islamabad to commemorate Pakistan’s Independence Day and Marka-e-Haq (Battle of Truth).
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the parade witnessed the participation of the First Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Karim Valiyev. He was joined by representatives from the Azerbaijani embassy and the military attaché office in Pakistan, alongside other official guests.
Azerbaijan’s involvement featured a parade contingent from the Azerbaijan Army, marking their presence among the armed forces from different countries. This event highlighted the strong military ties between Azerbaijan and Pakistan.
