New york: A monograph by Nargiz Hajiyeva, a young scientist at Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC), has been published by NOVA Publishing, a Scopus-indexed academic publisher. Hajiyeva, who is also the head of the UNEC Women’s Research Council and holds a PhD in Economics, focuses her work on economic developments in Garabagh during the period of occupation from 1992 to 2020.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the monograph introduces and develops a new economic concept known as the theory of “occupied economies.” This innovative theory provides insights into the economic conditions and challenges faced by regions under occupation, emphasizing the unique circumstances that affect their economic landscape.
