Azerbaijani President Extends Independence Day Congratulations to Ukrainian President


Baku: Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has extended his congratulations to President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy on the occasion of Ukraine’s Independence Day.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev’s message conveyed warm wishes to President Zelenskyy and the Ukrainian people, emphasizing the strong interstate relations between Azerbaijan and Ukraine. The message highlighted the mutual respect and historical friendship between the two nations, which serve as the foundation for their ongoing collaboration. In his message, President Aliyev noted that the relations between the countries are evolving, with significant cooperation in politics, economy, transport, energy, and humanitarian affairs.

The Azerbaijani leader also commended the mutual support and solidarity on matters of territorial integrity and sovereignty, underscoring the commitment to international law principles. He reiterated Azerbaijan’s intention to continue providing humanitarian support to Ukraine. President Aliyev exp
