Baku: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has extended his condolences to His Excellency Xi Jinping, President of the People’s Republic of China, following the loss of life caused by a fire in a residential complex in Hong Kong, APA reports.
According to Azeri-Press news agency, the Azerbaijani President conveyed his sorrow and sympathy in a letter addressed to President Xi Jinping. The letter expressed deep sadness over the fatalities resulting from the fire incident. President Aliyev offered his condolences on behalf of himself and the Azerbaijani people to the families and loved ones of the victims, as well as to the people of China. Additionally, he wished for a swift recovery for those injured in the tragic event.
