Baku: Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has made a firm declaration regarding the nation’s sovereignty, stating that Azerbaijan has not and will not permit any external interference in its internal affairs. This statement was part of his address on the occasion of the Day of Solidarity of World Azerbaijanis and the New Year.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev emphasized Azerbaijan’s commitment to maintaining close relationships with various international organizations, considering these ties to be in the country’s best interest. He reiterated Azerbaijan’s dedication to equal partnerships, underscoring that the nation has consistently resisted any attempts by external forces to impose their will or influence its domestic matters. The President highlighted that Azerbaijan has never submitted to external pressures and remains steadfast in safeguarding its sovereignty and independence.
