Azerbaijani Parliament to Review 2026 Budget Package in December Sessions


Baku: The agenda for the Azerbaijani Parliament’s sessions on December 2 and 3 has been set, focusing on the second reading of the 2026 budget package.



According to Azeri-Press news agency, the discussions will encompass several key financial legislations.



The sessions will address the draft law concerning the state budget for 2026, alongside the budgets for the State Social Protection Fund and the Unemployment Insurance Fund. Additionally, the parliament will deliberate on the subsistence minimum and the threshold of the need criterion for 2026.



The legislative agenda also includes proposed amendments to various laws, such as those related to social insurance, military personnel insurance, state duties, and medical insurance. These amendments aim to refine existing policies on state care for individuals with specific health conditions and the protection of employees in various sectors.
