Baku: The Milli Majlis has issued a strong condemnation of a statement released by the EU-Armenia Parliamentary Partnership Committee on February 25, 2025. The Azerbaijani Parliament views the document as part of an ongoing smear campaign orchestrated by Armenia in collaboration with the European Parliament, according to a report from the Press and Public Relations Department of the Milli Majlis, APA reports.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the statement coincided with the anniversary of the Khojaly genocide, a tragic event perpetrated by Armenia against the Azerbaijani people. The Milli Majlis highlighted that the accusations made against Azerbaijan in the statement are baseless and absurd, further exposing what they perceive as the true nature of both Armenia and the European Parliament.
