Ankara: A delegation from the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Media Development Agency visited the Centre for Combating Disinformation under the Directorate of Communications of the Presidency of Trkiye on March 30. The visit aimed to review Trkiye’s efforts in combating disinformation.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Deniz Demir, Coordinator of the Centre for Combating Disinformation, provided an overview of the center’s activities. He explained the center’s institutional structure and detailed the projects implemented to tackle disinformation. Demir highlighted the center’s systematic approach to rapidly detect, analyze, and prevent fake and manipulative content within the modern information landscape.
During a subsequent bilateral meeting, both sides shared perspectives on current challenges in combating disinformation. They discussed international experiences and effective mechanisms for information security and fostering a reliable digital media environment. The meeting also addressed strengthening analytical capabilities in the ongoing fight against disinformation.
