Azerbaijani Consul in Tabriz Tragically Killed in Car Accident


Baku: Ramil Rza oglu Imranov, who served as a consul at the Consulate General of Azerbaijan in Tabriz, Iran, has been killed in a traffic accident, according to a statement posted on the social media account of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, APA reports.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the statement expressed deep sadness over the tragic death of Ramil Rza oglu Imranov. Imranov was operating his vehicle during the execution of his official duties on the Julfa-Tabriz highway, near the town of Marand, when the accident occurred.



The statement conveyed condolences to the family, loved ones, and colleagues of the deceased, wishing them patience during this difficult time. The Ministry expressed its sorrow for the loss of their esteemed diplomatic colleague and hoped for Imranov’s peaceful rest.
