The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) approved “Standards of corporate management in banks” on August 28. An appropriate decision, signed by the chairman of the CBA Taleh Kazymov was adopted on September 11 and placed in a single electronic database of legal acts of the Ministry of Justice (e-qanun.az). According to the decision, a committee on corporate management should be established in local banks within the next year. Besides, decisions of the chamber on supervision of financial markets of January 30, 2019 “On approval of the rules of risk management in banks” and of June 27, 2019″ On approval of the standards of corporate management in banks” were cancelled
