Baku: Azerbaijani Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov met with a delegation led by Le Thi Thu Thuy, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Vietnam’s VinFast company. During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on cooperation between business communities to diversify economic relations with Vietnam, priorities for sustainable development, and Azerbaijan’s favorable business climate. They also discussed opportunities for joint activities in the production of electric vehicles.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the discussions highlighted the potential for collaboration in the electric vehicle sector, which is seen as a key area for future economic growth. Both parties expressed interest in leveraging each other’s strengths to foster innovation and expand the electric vehicle market. The meeting underscored Azerbaijan’s commitment to enhancing its economic ties with Vietnam and exploring new avenues for industrial cooperation.
