Baku: Azerbaijan discovered 1,079 combat weapons in the liberated territories last year, APA reports. This was revealed during a collegium meeting at the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
According to Azeri-Press news agency, a total of 5,199 firearms were seized, including the 1,079 combat weapons from the liberated territories. Additionally, authorities seized 2,183 shells and more than 220,000 cartridges. The meeting also highlighted that 502 incidents related to the illegal possession and carrying of firearms were identified, leading to the arrest of 153 individuals for these crimes.
