Baku: Rashad Nabiyev, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Digital Development and Transport, met with Baroness Lloyd, UK’s Under-Secretary of State in the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology. The meeting focused on advancing the Azerbaijan-UK strategic partnership with an emphasis on opportunities for collaboration in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the discussions also touched upon fostering partnerships with UK universities in human capital development. This includes the establishment of joint programs, scholarships, and digital academies. Moreover, the sides explored potential investments in AI data centers, aiming to strengthen ties and enhance technological cooperation between the two nations.
