Baku:Azerbaijan leads in imports of Turkish goods among the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) countries.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT) reveals that between 2021 and 2025, Turkey exported goods and services worth $41.6 billion to Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan. During the same period, Turkey’s imports from these countries amounted to $30.6 billion.
In the first nine months of this year alone, Turkey’s exports to OTS countries reached $4.8 billion. Azerbaijan emerged as the largest buyer of Turkish products over the past five years, with imports totaling $13.7 billion. Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan followed with $9.9 billion and $5.6 billion, respectively.
Kazakhstan was the leading supplier of goods to Turkey, exporting $16.7 billion worth of products. Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan followed, with exports of $6.9 billion and $6.2 billion, respectively.
