Azerbaijan to Pursue Mutual Recognition of Authorized Economic Operators

Baku: Azerbaijan will take steps toward the mutual recognition of authorized economic operators with other countries, APA-Economics reports. This initiative is part of the action plan under the ‘Reliable Partnership Concept’ approved by President Ilham Aliyev.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the plan outlines that intergovernmental agreements on mutual recognition will initially be implemented with neighboring countries and Azerbaijan’s primary trading partners. The strategy involves conducting negotiations on international and bilateral platforms to achieve this mutual recognition.

The Cabinet of Ministers is the primary executing body for this plan, with the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, the Ministry of Economy, the State Customs Committee, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs serving as additional executors.
