Azerbaijan to Implement New Logistics Subsidy Mechanism by Year’s End

Baku: By the end of this year, Azerbaijan plans to introduce a logistics subsidy mechanism as part of efforts to promote the “Made in Azerbaijan” brand. This was announced by Yusif Abdullayev, Chairman of the Board of the Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO), during a briefing with journalists, as reported by APA-Economics.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the document submitted to the government outlines that up to 70% of products exported from Azerbaijan will benefit from subsidies. Special consideration is being given to the Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur regions, where subsidies could potentially cover up to 100% of export products.

Abdullayev explained that these privileges will be time-limited, with an initial implementation period of five years. There is also the possibility of extending the support for another five years to bolster export activities specifically for entrepreneurs operating in the liberated territories.
