Baku: The dubbing ecosystem of films in Azerbaijan is set for significant development as part of the ‘Azerbaijan Culture – 2040’ Concept of Culture, approved by an order from President Ilham Aliyev.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Ministry of Culture, in collaboration with the Intellectual Property Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan and other relevant state bodies, is tasked with studying international experience in film dubbing over the period of 2026-2028.
The initiative aims to analyze the current situation of the dubbing industry and prepare proposals for support mechanisms. This strategic move is intended to ensure the growth and enhancement of the dubbing industry within the country. The plan reflects a broader vision to integrate global best practices into Azerbaijan’s cultural framework, promoting the localization of films through improved dubbing services.
