Baku: A new metro station is planned to be built in the area popularly known as ‘Port Baku,” Bakhtiyar Mammadov, the press secretary of Baku Metro CJSC, told journalists.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, an additional transfer point to the Green Line will be created near the ‘Shah Ismayil Khatai’ station. Bakhtiyar Mammadov stated, “Our first major station in the city-bound direction will be constructed along Babak Avenue. This means that more convenient conditions will be created for people along this busy avenue.”
