Baku: The circulation of asbestos and materials containing asbestos will be prohibited in Azerbaijan, as APA reports. This development is part of a proposed amendment to the law “On the list of items prohibited from civil circulation (removed from civil circulation)”.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the proposed amendment outlines that if adopted, the law will come into effect on July 1, 2027. The project’s initial voting phase has been completed, and it was adopted in the first reading.
