Baku: Azerbaijan’s tax revenues from the non-oil and gas sector saw a significant increase of more than 9% from January to May 2025, with nearly 7.8433 billion AZN collected into the state budget. The State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy fulfilled 105.7 percent of the forecast during this period.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the State Tax Service reported that compared to the same period last year, tax revenues increased by 344.2 million AZN or 4.6 percent. The non-oil and gas sector contributed approximately 5.7162 billion manats to the tax revenues.
Compared to the same period in 2024, tax revenues from the non-oil and gas sector increased by 9.1 percent. Of the total taxes collected, a significant 72.9 percent originated from the non-oil and gas sector, while 27.1 percent came from the oil and gas sector.
