Baku:In the first nine months of 2026, Azerbaijan experienced a significant surge in copper concentrate production, which increased by 11,728.2 tons, marking a 5.2-fold rise to reach a total of 14,494.8 tons.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the State Statistical Committee of Azerbaijan reported that as of October 1, the inventories of finished products also saw a substantial increase. The inventories rose by 1,335.5 tons, a 10.4-fold increase from the previous year, reaching a total of 1,536.2 tons.
For comparison, during the same period in 2025, the copper concentrate production was recorded at 2,766.6 tons, and the reserves of finished products stood at 200.7 tons.
