Baku: At the meeting of the Commission on the Preparation for Azerbaijan’s Membership in the World Trade Organization, Azerbaijani officials reviewed the progress achieved to date, Minister of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mikayil Jabbarov, stated in an X post, APA reports.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, discussions during the meeting focused on strengthening competitive local production, expanding export opportunities, and aligning key sectors with international trade requirements. Minister Jabbarov also mentioned that they identified the next steps to be taken in the negotiation process as part of Azerbaijan’s accession to the Organization.
