Khojavand: On June 12, another relocation to the Hadrut and Girmizi Bazar settlements of Khojavand district took place, APA’s local bureau reports. The relocated persons are families who had been temporarily settled in various regions of the republic, mainly in dormitories, sanatoriums and administrative buildings. At this stage, 4 families (17 people) were relocated to Hadrut settlement, and 8 families (42 people) were relocated to Girmizi Bazar settlement.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the relocated families were presented with the keys to their new apartments. The residents returning to their native homeland expressed their gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva for being surrounded by comprehensive state care. They also expressed their gratitude to the Azerbaijani Army, soldiers, and officers who liberated their lands from occupation, and wished God’s mercy upon the martyrs who sacrificed their lives on this path.
Representatives of the Special Representation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Aghdam, Fuzuli, and Khojavand districts, as well as the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and IDPs, participated in the ceremony.
