Astana:Representatives from Azerbaijan’s State Agency for Science and Higher Education, the ‘Study in Azerbaijan’ project, and the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University participated in the International Education Fair (IEF 2026) held in the Kazakh cities of Astana and Almaty.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the exhibition provided visitors with details about academic programs available for international students at higher education institutions in Azerbaijan, including information on admission procedures and scholarship opportunities.
The event, which took place in both cities, attracted more than 3,000 visitors. Meetings were held with senior-grade students from general education institutions in Astana and Almaty to discuss opportunities for studying in Azerbaijan. Participants received information about the university admission process, the selection of fields of study, and the support available to international students.
As part of efforts to promote Azerbaijan’s higher education globally, further participation in education exhibitions and meetings are planned in the Kyrgyz city of Bishkek and the Uzbek city of Tashkent in the coming days.
