Baku: The first resettlement to the city of Aghdam is set to take place this fall, as announced by Emin Huseynov, the Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Aghdam, Fuzuli, and Khojavend districts. This announcement was made during the launch ceremony of the Baku-Aghdam-Baku railway passenger train.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Huseynov highlighted the rapid progress of restoration work in Aghdam city. He stated that significant infrastructure projects are underway, with the aim of resettling the first group of people by the autumn season.
Huseynov also mentioned plans for the complete restoration of the historical central part of Aghdam city by the end of 2026, which will then be available for public use.
