Venice:The Azerbaijan Naval Forces delegation took part in the 15th Trans-Regional Seapower Symposium (T-RSS) organized by the Italian Navy. This significant gathering brought together naval force commanders and delegations from various countries, alongside representatives from international organizations, academia, and the defense industry.
According to Azeri-Press news agency, discussions during the symposium focused on critical issues such as global and regional maritime security, the protection of international sea lanes, and collaborative efforts to address modern challenges. Additionally, the event aimed to enhance cooperation among naval forces worldwide.
Rear Admiral Shahin Mammadov, the Commander of the Azerbaijan Naval Forces, led the Azerbaijani delegation and engaged in several bilateral meetings. These meetings concentrated on expanding naval cooperation, exchanging experiences, and strengthening ties in maritime security.
The participation in this symposium and the subsequent bilateral meetings play a crucial role in reinforcing the Azerbaijan Naval Forces’ international connections and enhancing cooperation with naval forces from partner countries.
