Baku: A delegation from Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources visited the Alley of Honor to commemorate the memorial day of Heydar Aliyev, the National Leader and architect of modern Azerbaijan. They paid their respects by laying flowers at his monument, honoring his significant contributions to the nation.
According to Trend News Agency, the delegation also paid homage to Zarifa Aliyeva, a prominent ophthalmologist-scientist and academician, by placing flowers on her tomb. December 12th marks the annual Memorial Day for Heydar Aliyev, commemorating his passing in 2003. On this day, Azerbaijanis reflect on his role in establishing the nation’s statehood and stability, participating in ceremonies and tributes at his memorial in Baku’s Alley of Honors.
