Azerbaijan Forms Strategic Partnership with UK Technology Firm Entrust


London: Azerbaijan’s Minister of Digital Development and Transport, Rashad Nabiyev, recently engaged in discussions with representatives from the UK-based global technology company Entrust. The meeting focused on enhancing Azerbaijan’s digital infrastructure, particularly in areas like digital identification, electronic signatures, and cryptographic solutions, as confirmed by the Ministry to APA-Economics.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the meeting was part of Azerbaijan’s broader digital transformation and artificial intelligence strategy. Key topics included the current status and future potential of collaborative efforts with Entrust. Both parties explored initiatives to boost national digital identification and cybersecurity measures.

The meeting concluded with the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between Entrust and AzInTelecom, marking a significant step forward in Azerbaijan’s digital development ambitions.
