Baku: President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has extended congratulations to Sudan on its 70th anniversary of independence. The message was directed to Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan Abdelrahman Al-Burhan, President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council of the Republic of the Sudan.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, President Aliyev conveyed his best wishes to the Sudanese people and expressed hope for continued development of relations and cooperation between Azerbaijan and Sudan. He emphasized the importance of joint efforts to strengthen ties in a spirit of friendship, aligned with the interests of both nations.
President Aliyev also wished President Al-Burhan robust health and success in his endeavors, alongside peace and prosperity for the Sudanese people on this significant occasion.
